Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the platform at https://greatseo.app. By creating an account or using the Service in any way — including the free audit feature — you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Great SEO is a web-based SEO analysis and reporting platform offering: SEO/GEO/AEO website audits; keyword rank tracking; Web Vitals page-by-page performance scans; competitor domain analysis; Google Business Profile audits; keyword research and backlink discovery; and automated PDF report scheduling. Features vary by plan as described at https://greatseo.app/pricing.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan quotas. Report compromised accounts to roger@greatstart.com.br immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

Permitted

Analyzing websites you own or are authorized to analyze; analyzing competitor websites using publicly available data for legitimate competitive research; generating reports for your own use or for clients in the normal course of business.

Prohibited

Analyzing websites without authorization where the intent is unauthorized access or scraping; attempting to access or disrupt Great SEO's infrastructure or third-party systems; using bots or automated tools to circumvent quotas; reselling account access; uploading malicious code; violating applicable laws; reverse-engineering the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in violation of these terms.

4. Plans, Billing, and Payment

4a. Plans and pricing

Plans and pricing are described at https://greatseo.app/pricing in US dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers before changes take effect on their account.

4b. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). Annual plans are billed in full at the start of the period. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method via Stripe.

4c. Free audit

The no-account free audit is a limited lead-generation feature (score indicators only). It does not constitute a subscription and requires no credit card.

4d. Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVV. Failed payments trigger a 7-day dunning sequence (3 retry attempts). If unresolved, your account enters a read-only state until payment is resolved or the subscription is canceled.

4e. No refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. No refunds are issued for partial months, unused features, or periods of inactivity. No free trial. No money-back guarantee. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the current billing period.

4f. Cancellation

Cancel anytime via Settings → Billing → Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at period end. Your account and data are retained; you may reactivate at any time.

4g. Plan downgrades

Downgrading from Pro to Base where usage exceeds Base limits (tracked keywords, projects, scheduled reports) requires you to bring the account into compliance. Excess tracked keywords are soft-archived (data retained); excess scheduled reports are paused.

4h. Taxes

Prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax), which are added at checkout where required by law.

5. Usage Quotas

Quotas for audits, keyword tracking slots, keyword searches, backlink searches, GBP audits, user seats, and scheduled reports are defined per plan at https://greatseo.app/pricing and enforced at the application layer. Monthly quotas reset on your billing anniversary. Usage is account-level and shared across all projects. We notify you at 80% of any quota by in-app banner and email. At 100%, the affected feature is disabled until the next reset or an upgrade. We may adjust quota limits with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Data and Reports

6a. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you input. We process it solely to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

6b. Generated reports

Reports are for your use and, where applicable, for sharing with your clients. You may not represent AI-estimated data points (clearly labeled in the interface and reports) as independently verified measurements.

6c. Data accuracy

The Service draws from Google APIs, DataForSEO, and AI-generated analysis (Gemini). We do not warrant that rankings, backlink counts, traffic estimates, or audit scores are error-free or complete. No SEO tool can guarantee ranking improvements. SEO data is directional intelligence, not absolute fact.

6d. Authorization for sites analyzed

By submitting a domain for analysis, you represent you are the owner or have authorization from the owner. We are not responsible for claims arising from unauthorized use of the Service against third-party websites.

7. Intellectual Property

7a. Our IP

The Great SEO platform — interface, design, codebase, brand assets, and underlying technology — is owned by Great SEO and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own internal business purposes during an active subscription.

7b. Feedback

By submitting feedback or feature requests, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google APIs, DataForSEO, Stripe, Supabase, and Resend. Your use is subject to those providers' terms and acceptable use policies. Google API quota exhaustion or outages may delay rank-tracking refreshes; such delays will be logged and surfaced in your account.

9. Availability and Service Changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance, modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice, and discontinue the Service entirely with 60 days' notice to active subscribers (with a pro-rated refund for unused annual subscription periods in that case).

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that audit scores will result in improved rankings, that third-party data will be complete or accurate, or that the Service will meet your specific business requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Great SEO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of revenue, data, business, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Great SEO in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Great SEO, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or any website you submit for analysis.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT JURISDICTION]. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under [INSERT ARBITRATION BODY], in English. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for irreparable harm. Class action waiver: all disputes are resolved on an individual basis only.

14. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you by email and update the effective date for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. To decline, cancel your subscription before the effective date.

15. General Provisions

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Great SEO regarding the Service. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.
